| Shock Trauma Gala
The Shock Trauma Gala recognizes the medical expertise and tireless dedication of not only the Shock Trauma team at the University of Maryland but also Maryland's emergency medical service providers. Each year the event features patients whose lives have been saved by these amazing and dedicated professionals. We are fortunate to live in a state with the world's best trauma care. Funds raised at the gala will benefit patient care services at the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and will also support the EMS educational fund and the Maryland Fireman's Association Scholarship fund. Please join us for an evening dinner, live music and dancing, Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Baltimore Convention Center.
