On August 20, 2006, over 450 eager children and adults arrived at the ESPN
Zone in Baltimore, MD to meet Orioles 2nd baseman, Brian Roberts, along with
12 of his teammates, manager, and two former players.

On June 15, Adrian Teel, Senior Vice President of Ferris, Baker Watts, Incorporated,
presented the Vice President of Shock Trauma, John Spearman with a $50,000
check.

for Cancer Programs - 6/12/06
Founded in 2002, the Dr. Michael Feinglass Cancer Foundation is a non-profit
charitable organization established in the loving memory of Dr. Michael Feinglass
who was terminally stricken with colon cancer at the young age of twenty-eight.

On Monday, April 10, Dr. Adrian Park Chief of General Surgery at the University
of Maryland Minimally Invasive Therapy Center and Campbell & Jeanette
Plugge Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine
spoke about minimally invasive surgery at a lunch for invited guests.

The UMMS Foundation is pleased to announce Fred F. Mirmiran, a member of the
Shock Trauma Board of Visitors, has donated $1 million to the R Adams Cowley
Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
