UMMC Events
The UMMS Foundation has many events throughout the year to raise money for various hospitals within the Medical System and Centers of Excellence. We have several golf tournaments, a polo match, gala, and half marathon.

Saves for Shock Trauma
For a 6th season, Kelly & Associates Insurance Group, Inc. is contributed $1,000 to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center every time an Orioles pitcher recorded a save. In the 2011 season, a total of $32,000 was contributed thanks to the 32 saves recorded by the O's and the generosity of Kelly & Associates. See how the O's pitchers performed
Points for Pediatrics
The University of Maryland has teamed up with SECU, Maryland’s largest state-chartered financial cooperative, for the Points for Pediatrics Program this basketball season. For every point scored by the men’s basketball team, SECU willdonate $5 to the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital.
SECU has guaranteed a minimum donation of $10,000 regardless of
how many points the Terps score this season. In addition, SECU will
host and recognize University of Maryland Children’s Hospital patients,
families and staff when Maryland takes on Wake Forest on Saturday, February 2.
