The University of Maryland Medical System Society membership is composed of generous individuals, businesses and foundations that share a commitment to support the University of Maryland Medical System's mission, vision and values.
UMMS Society membership represents cumulative, lifetime giving. Once total gifts have reached $5,000 (gifts made since January 1, 1990), the contributor is inducted into the University of Maryland Medical System Society. The gifts can be in whatever form most convenient or comfortable for the contributor - the sum of many charitable gifts over several years or one substantial gift.
