Three University of Maryland Medical System Hospitals Ranked Among Top Five In MarylandJuly 16, 2024Three University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) hospitals the University of Maryland Medical Center (Downtown Campus), UM St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson (Baltimore County) and UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie (Anne Arundel County) rank among the top five hospitals in the Baltimore region and the state, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2024 Best Hospitals, released today. “Having three of our hospitals ranked so highly is indicative of the excellent academic-focused medical care available across our System,” said Mohan Suntha, MD, MBA, President and Chief Executive Officer of UMMS. “Our team members work hard every day to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient and family-centered care.
