Heroic Gifts to the Shock Trauma Critical Care Tower

The University of Maryland Medical Center is proud to feature the generous donors who made significant gifts to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Critical Care Tower, making the new building a reality.

Thanks to these $1 million or more donors, the 140,000 square-foot Critical Care Tower has allowed us to expand our patient capacity and care for the region’s most critically ill and injured patients. Their investment has ensured that Shock Trauma remains at the global forefront of treatment, research and training related to traumatic injury and illness.
