Welcome to My Children’s Heart Program Running Team page!
This year, I am running in the Baltimore Running Festival to benefit the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Heart Program (CHP).
Heart defects are the most common and potentially life-threatening birth defects. Advanced diagnostic and treatment services provided by the CHP dramatically improve survival and quality of life, allowing children with very serious illness to grow into productive, healthy adults. In addition to providing care to these children with the most complex heart conditions, the CHP also works to prevent and reduce even more common cardiovascular problems, like childhood obesity and hypertension.
This organization is near and dear to my heart, not because I work here, but because day in and day out I spend time with both these children and families who are struggling through some of the worst days of their lives. Your support and donations mean the world to me!
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal!
