This year's Special Topics in Trauma Care Conference will take place October 29-30th at the Marriott Hotel, Baltimore Inner Harbor at Camden Yards.

RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE
This program will be of academic and professional interest to ER, OR, ICU, Intermediate Care, and Med-Surg nurses, pre-hospital personnel (EMTs /Paramedics); advanced practice nurses, allied health professionals and physicians.

GOAL
The goal of this annual conference is to provide relevant evidence based information and stimulate discussion about new and innovative advances in the fields of trauma and critical care. This conference is designed to cover all of the disciplines that are involved in the care of the trauma/critical care patient.

ACCREDITATION
EMS Continuing Education units will be offered via MIEMSS and Nursing credits from MNA. This program has been approved by the Maryland Nurses Association (MNA).

Day 1 – 5.5 contact hours
Day 2 – 5.5 contact hours
Both days – 11.0 contact hours

FEES
Tuition fees include coffee, morning snacks, daily buffet lunch, afternoon snack and teaching materials. A written cancellation notice is required no later than October 10, 2009 for a refund. The course registration fee is refundable minus a $45 administrative fee with the written cancellation notice.
