Welcome to my Maryland Half Marathon & 5K Page!
As the Breast Oncology Nurse Navigator for UMGCCC's Breast Evaluation and Treatment Program, I am running in the 13th Annual Maryland Half Marathon & 5K to raise money for the fight against cancer. 100% of every dollar I raise goes directly to the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC). This race is important to me because it’s a way to take part in making a difference even in this small way.
I want to honor and support my family and friends who’ve been affected by cancer as well as our past, current, and future patients at UMGCCC! On a daily basis, our breast team supports our patients from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Being part of the UM Half Marathon & 5K is an opportunity to support in a “big picture” way through raising money for research.
