Welcome to Dana's Personal Maryland Half Marathon & 5K Page!

I'm participating in the 2023 Maryland Half Marathon & 5K to raise money for the fight against cancer.

The fight/battle against Cancer is personal one for me, having lost my beloved husband Matthew (1/22), as well as other cherished family members to this horrible disease.

My dedication is to help raise the needed funds for research, clinical trials and other treatments that may otherwise be out of reach for some. We can make an impact and knock down barriers to give others a chance at a longer, fulfilling, healthier life. My husband and I were inspired to participate in this important mission some 5 years ago by two friends/runners Nadrat Siddique & Lawrence Freeman.
